Residential - Public Housing Development

The Mead Court and Slough Lane project involved the demolition of existing derelict garages and laundry building utilised by nearby residents to make way for the construction of six units; two pairs of two storey semi detached homes and two single storey semi detached bungalows. Structurally the buildings required deep foundations to counter act risk of protected trees (Heave), brick facades, truss/tiled roofs and aluclad windows and doors. Internally each dwelling was fitted out with purpose built kitchens and bathrooms. The bungalows were designed to the end users requirements with full wheelchair accessibility. Construction works were ongoing within a live residential estate which required daily liaising with the residents to ensure safe delivery of the works.
