The Kilmartin Way development involved a vast amount of civil engineering works, enabling works to existing services, new service connections and completion of all road and hard standings. In order to construct the new car park around an existing substation, the existing services were diverted and lowered in phase 1. This had to be completed prior to any new mains utility connections were considered and required careful planning and programming. The civil works included the bulk excavation across the site, foundations, rising blockwork, block and beam structural sub floors, insulation, drainage and floor screeds. The external works included fencing to rear gardens, paving and landscaping.
